Wine of the week - Pepperwood Grove Zinfandel

Tasty and cheap. A bit tart but has a good body. I couldn't find the "layers of jammy fruit" but I probably didn't know where to look. And what the heck does "French Oak" taste like? It's about 7 bucks but it was on our rack for a while. It's not a dated vintage so it is probably some kind of blend. I don't know. Maybe they can have a way to make every year's batch taste exactly the same. Maybe they only made one batch. I wonder if Bettie Page would like it.
