No Reason. I just thought it was clever.

Things ain't what they used to be. (In fact, they never was.) The Profile (more than you really wanted to know) is here.

This was the fourth most visited photo on the Anyjazz65 Flickr stream reaching that status almost immediately after posting in January of 2007. Seems a 1942 Chrysler is heavily Googled. It stands today at 2,410 views, 25 Favorites. It is still visited up to 15 times a day.
But it has been pushed down to fifth place by a newcomer.

Here is a real head-scratcher. This old photograph was uploaded in September of 2007. It shot up in views right away putting it at the third most viewed here. Seems it was popular with Google because it has cowboys, four of them in chaps. It still averages 7 views a day. It has been the third most viewed photograph on this stream almost since the day it was posted.
But it has been pushed to fourth place by a newcomer.

Here is an easy one. This photo is titled “Choice”. It was posted back in September of 2005. It enjoyed a modest viewership early on but suddenly, it was election time. The photo was picked up by blogs and linked in political websites up and down the net. It still gets at least one visit a day after more than three years on the stream. It held second place with more than 2600 views and 10 Favorites.
But it has recently been bumped to third place.

Right after I uploaded this photograph, the view count shot up. As fast as I could renew the page the count had gone up another 75 or 80. It finally peaked at about 2400 views.
I wrote the FlickrGods about it and they basically told me that it must be a “rilly good picher, fur sure.” Oh well, I was only trying to help. That was March of 2006. Today it has more than 3800 views and was favorited five times. and still gets four or five new views a week.
But it is soon to be knocked out of first place.

The new challenger for first place is this one. It was posted in September of 2005, shortly after joining Flickr. It enjoyed a below average view record in the low hundreds and was favorited only once. Then suddenly, last Monday, December 1, 2008 it was picked up as a sample on the PhotoshopRoadmap Blog site. It had 1273 visits THAT DAY! It has had more than 200 visits a day every day since then. Today, 10 Dec 2008 it is just 500 visits away from bumping the robin out of first place.
Thanks to Flicker Stats for keeping these records for me.
