Little Annie Fannie

Today is the birthday of "Little Annie Fannie" a lampoon of "Little Orphan Annie" but much earthier. (After much pre-production "foreplay" of course...) Annie is a creation of the team of Harvey Kurtzman and Bill Elder, two alumni of the EC Mad comics origin way back in the mid fifties. Little Annie Fannie appeared in Playboy magazine always lampooning modern man’s persistent lack of resistance to a ditzy, fantasy-figured, blonde supergirl. Illustrator Jack Davis, also from the old Mad comic, often made contributions to the works.
