In 1993, on MTV, today was the first day of the rest of their lives.
From humble beginnings on Liquid Television with a very short, short animation called “Frog Baseball” animator Mike Judge was signed by MTV to create a regular series. It began today.
Heh heh heh.
The boys giggled at anything they deemed as innuendo. They abused and overused many catch phrases of the day. “We’re there dude.” “Cool” “That sucks.”
They commented on music videos with language that just barely slipped by the censor’s scissors.
The series officially outlived its usefulness in 1997. But considering today’s tuneless, vernacular driven, visually propped-up “music” perhaps they should make a come-back. It needs to be pointed out to some of today’s “artists” that much of their production sucks.
Heh-heh, heh-heh.
