Kees Van Dongen

Today, in 1877 Kees Van Dongen was born. This is the cover of Realities, June 1960. It is "The Red Hat" by Kees Van Dongen. I have saved this magazine because of the cover. When I bought the magazine, it was already 20 years old. Someone else thought it was a fine cover too. The magazine holds an article about Van Dongen for the magazine and another 20 reproductions of his paintings, mostly in black and white. And there is a photo of Van Dondgen himself. Van Dondgen died in May of 1968 at the age of 91.
