We moved away.

We built our house, we made our home;
Of laughing sounds and cookie smells,
Of warming thoughts and gentle touch.
We had such lovely plans to stay.
And then,
We moved away.

  1. I always look at places like this and know that some proud fellow once stood out in front, beaming at the wonderful place he now calls his own. How sad it would be for that proud fellow to see it now.
