Talking Pictures - Twilight

No. You didn't see that.

Twilight (corrected)

These are from the negatives. The negatives are so shiny that I cannot tell for sure which is the emulsion side. So I don't know if they are both correct or both wrong now.

The Profile
(more than you
really
wanted to know)

is here.

Very heavy or cool or far out or whatever it is we say these days. However, I do wonder: Off to the right side of the tree in the background, is that the guy from the grassy knoll?

    Great stuff!

  3. Thanks Twilight and TNPOTUS. Many of the old abandoned photographs that I find suggest a caption or a presentation at first glance. The two negatives right away suggested something sinister and mysterious. I don’t think the photographer intended this really. Many times with the older film cameras, one had to guess at the exposure and shutter speed and then wait until the film is developed to see the results. The two shots were too dark for the portraits intended. But they do present a very moody atmosphere.

  4. Oh yes, the guy in the shadows is probably the director. I read that directors often cast themselves in some background bit part. Few people see that on the first viewing.
