Trying to do right.
On Thursday, October the 27th we met with the man known only as Street Poet. We had braved a two block walk on a cold, rainy day to get a few pictures of the Occupy Wall Street movement in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
He was lively, happy and enthusiastic about his cause. He and another fellow were engaged in making coffee and offered us some.
I took this picture of him with Annie at Kerr Park in downtown OKC.
He was found dead in his tent the following Monday, October 31, 2011.
See this fine coverage HERE. And don’t miss the video link near the end.

Incredible story. Karen has shared it with us all on FB. Amazing and so very tragic.

Thanks Lee. It was indeed tragic. He was a truly like-able human. The feeding frenzy of the wing-nut hyenas is as unfeeling as it is unjustified.
