This is a fine collection of recordings done by groups led by legendary alto saxophonists.

The David Stone Martin drawing shown above, the man with a trumpet, became the overall logo (or icon) for Norman Granz and his record labels, primarily Verve and Clef and shown, Norgran. There is a list of Granz promoted recordings HERE.
