after supper Tressie
and family brought us
over to Hollidaysburg to
Youngs here we stayed
all night.
July 18 today we went
to Alexandria to
Earls was with them
over dinner came
back to Holidaysburg
to Youngs. Mr Young
took us to Hallidays burg
took the trolley to Altoona
Arrived after dark got on
our train to start home
at 11 o clock

July 19 Traveled the
remainder of the night
and all day arrived in
Chicago in the evening
just long enough wait
to nicely arrange our
things left Chicago 6 o clock
in this car we can stay
untill we arrive in Kansas City
July 20 Arrive in Kansas
City on time after a short
wait – take train for Abilene
arrive home on after
noon train tired and
very glad to rest in our
own home found every
thing nice the flowers
in bloom and I went
out next day and
picked beans corn

tomatos cucumbers hai(?)
cabbage and squash
Thus ends out trip
to the east a beautifull
trip the weather was
very warm at times
and we got vary tired
but thankfull to our
Heavenly Father for all
the blessing we enjoyed
from his hand

July 11 Today we walked
out to Mrs Frank Browns
spent the day here came
back to Dans in the evening.
July 12 Went up to cousin
Elmer Basslers today walked
up frp, Dams stp[[ed at
the dry hill Cemetery
Elmers went with us up
to Martha Sniders ate
Rasberries and Black
berries along the road
took up a drive
stopped at dave Smiths

July 13 We went to Beck-
-hoffers store up around
the dam stoped at Abe
Byers in the afternoon Elmers
took us out to Emanuels
Stayed at Elmers all
Night
July 14 Abeit Erbs son
came to Dans and t ook
us over to the old Metz
place in the afternoon
Maria and I calle at
her daughters Mrs Ferry
after supper they

Came and took us
out to Roaring Springs
July 15 Annie went
with us to the book
bindry then to Tressa
for dinner in the
afternoon we went to
Will Basslers and
called at Libbie Snichis
and to Tressies for supper
after supper they brought
us to Speilmans
July 16 Sunday went
to Sunday School
and Church in Roaring
Spring with Herbert

July 17 This morning
Mr and Mrs Susicly went
with us up to Graces
then we went to D M Bears
wind down and through
the paper mill after
that Mr Bear took us
for a drive and to Luis
house for dinner went
to fannie Kauffmans
the store and then
to Tressies for supper
