Spectacular Hat

It was a spectacular hat and not a mirror in sight. Finally I spotted a small, very dirty, looking glass wedged behind some mason jars on a low shelf. It would have to do. Now what? Should I dig out the mirror, clean it up and replace it in better lighting? The proprietor was looming so I left the mirror where it was found and got this desperate shot.
