Two couples original

Here is another example of an old photograph that benefitted from a bit of enhancement. Only the yellow was removed. No other restoration was done.

Music Monday

Composer Joseph Joachim was born in 1831

And then in 1852, Composer Hans Huber was born.

Then we had to wait for 1913 when Composer George Lloyd was born.
So. Do you know any of them?

Then, finally in 1969, Crosby, Stills & Nash released their first album.
We could not have waited any longer.

In 1975, David Bowie's "Fame" was released. He was always doin' stuff like that.

In 1978, Members of the group Kansas were named Deputy Ambassadors of Goodwill by Unicef. I shop at their store all the time. (Oh, get over it ...)

In 1986, Wham! made their farewell concert appearance at London's Wembley Stadium. Elton John made an appearance in a clown suit to sing a song and then came back later to sing "Candle In The Wind" with George Michael.

Back almost 20 years ago today, in 1991 "Paul McCartney's Liverpool Oratorio" debuted at the Anglican Cathedral in Liverpool.

Dateline 1999. This just in: The home of DMX (Earl Simmons) was searched as part of an investigation into the shooting of Ray Copeland. Copeland is the uncle and manager of DMX. Copeland was wounded in the foot the previous day.

No tea was served.
