    This photo seems to say so much of the era with so little. If i had to put together a picture that said how i imagined the war, USA, this would be it. and so John Wayne too.

    Thanks PB. Yes, include the Duke.

    This almost exactly matches the scene in the movie "Catch 22" with the light plane, the man and the water. In a few seconds the plane turns and the man is cut in half.
